I've now had calls for three hive removals. One was in a hedge in front of a house, which is really bad place for bees to build comb, but who am I to judge. I got them out over a three hour period and now they're happily hived in a warre. The other two are going to be trickier... one is an eight-year old hive in a roof.
It's that time of year again - bees in barbecues, hanging from azalea bushes, perched on your fence post.
