Summer Wildflower (Hive #23)

15.00

Hive #23 is on the edge of a large remnant swath of coastal stringybark.  In addition to the eucalyptus that flowers in autumn, the site has some of the most prolific spring and early summer wildflower blooms of all my sites, including a couple of Leptospermum species

Tasting Notes: Lightly floral aroma.  Buttery texture, very fine granulation.  Only mildly sweet, with occasional hints of grapefruit and wild brassicas. Very complex in the middle, with bubblegum, cotton candy, green tea.  Melon, tea, citrus zest and a lingering finish.
